ABOUT
As a former Division I lacrosse player, I bring the same dedication, competitiveness and energy that fueled my athletic career into my work as a sports journalist. Playing at the highest level taught me how to thrive under pressure, adapt quickly, work as part of a team and, most importantly, never stop pushing myself. Those lessons have become a huge part of who I am as a journalist.
I’m now a Sports Multimedia Journalist and reporter, covering everything from Arizona athletics, Big 12 football and March Madness to high school and professional sports. I love the pace and unpredictability of sports, but what I enjoy most is the people. Whether I’m interviewing an athlete after a big win, standing on the sidelines before kickoff or sitting down with someone to hear the story behind their journey, I’m always looking for the moments that make sports about more than just a final score.
I’m also a true one-woman show. I’ve pitched, researched, shot, written, edited, produced and reported my own stories, while also anchoring sports and handling live coverage. I love being involved in every part of the storytelling process and figuring out how to bring a story to life in a way that feels authentic and keeps people watching.
My career in sports media began with a Sports Production Internship at WABC-TV New York with Disney, where I worked alongside producers and on-air talent and had the opportunity to cover major moments like Aaron Judge’s record-breaking home run and Serena Williams’ final U.S. Open match. I later worked as an on-air sideline reporter for the Sports Fan Base Network, interviewing athletes and coaches and learning how to connect with both the people I’m covering and the audience watching at home.
Being an athlete has given me an insider’s perspective on sports, but it has also taught me how much more there is to a game than what happens between the lines. The preparation, setbacks, personalities, emotions and relationships are what make sports so compelling, and those are the stories I want to tell.
I’m passionate about being on the sidelines, telling meaningful stories and connecting with people through sports. I bring the perspective of an athlete, the versatility of a multimedia journalist and, above all, a genuine love for what I do. I’m excited for whatever comes next and ready for the opportunity to keep growing, keep telling great stories and keep finding my place in this industry.
